Wild Atlantic Fitness

Discover Donegal and restore your energy levels in the process. Every day is different and caters to all areas of health and wellbeing and all levels of fitness. The retreats are all inclusive and are designed to focus on everything you need to re-energize your body and mind.

Wild Atlantic Fitness is located in the town of Portnablagh on the Wild Atlantic Way. The retreats are aimed at domestic and international fitness enthusiasts and travellers.

On the fitness side, guests enjoy daily boot camps and resistance training, beach yoga on the Donegal beaches, hikes in Glenveagh National Park and around many of the local mountains along the Atlantic Ocean route. There are also sessions of hot yoga, basic weightlifting, CrossFit and surfing lessons included in some of the weekend and week-long packages.

What you eat is a huge part of wellness and a nutritionist is on hand for all your dietary requirements. All meals are made with the individual clients in mind and meal plans are prepared by a qualified nutritionist.

For the mind, guests will take part in a stress management and mindfulness workshop. There is also time built in for relaxing in the beautiful Shandon spa with its outdoor hot-tub and some of the packages include a 30 minute treatment.

Before returning home, a guest motivational speaker will give guests some words of encouragement to ensure they return to their daily life with a fresh focus and zest for life. Everything mentioned in the itinerary is included as standard but are optional to attend.

All activities are led by qualified people, who are all from the area.
