Magnificently situated by the shores of the Lower Lake, and on the edge of Killarney National Park, County Kerry, the Invicta offers excellent views of the lakes and surrounding mountains. Boats are available locally for salmon and trout fishing, or for touring and exploring. A number of excellent restaurants and differing traditional entertainments are found locally.

The Invicta is an ideal base for walking and mountain climbing, with Tomies Oak Wood only one kilometre away, and the Gap of Dungloe only three kilometres distant.

The Invicta is located ten kilometres from the town of Killarney on the national route N72 (The Ring of Kerry road).
