Your five-day tour of the Haven Coast kicks off in Kinsale, a town so inviting we’ve dedicated an entire day to exploring it. With proud medieval roots, a pretty harbour dotted with fishing boats, and a buzzing bar and restaurant scene, it’s the perfect starting point for travellers of all tastes and tendencies. Its atmospheric, winding streets and excellent selection of activities - outdoor as well as indoor - will have you grinning from ear-to-ear and swapping stories in the pub by day’s end.

Day 2
2 Stops


After a day spent exploring Kinsale, it’s time to get out along the coast. Today’s route will bring you down to the Old Head of Kinsale, a scenic outcrop that’s makes the perfect backdrop for a photo opportunity. After a delicious lunch of fresh local fare, you’ll head for the popular town of Clonakilty, stopping along the way for a little taste of the area’s hidden histories.

Day 3
3 Stops


Fall in love with the southern seasides towns and villages between Clonakilty and Skibbereen on Day Three of your Wild Atlantic Way Haven Coast adventure. With four special places to explore - plus plenty of bonus spots in between - you’ll be amazed at what you find.

Day 4
2 Stops


Find yourself at sea level today with an itinerary that celebrates all things marine. You’ll learn the fascinating facts about Ireland’s pirate history as you make your way from pretty Skibbereen to Baltimore, where the softly rolling land gives way to rough-hewn cliffs and crashing surf. From there, you’ll take to the high seas on an excursion to one of two nearby islands, uncovering the secrets of life off the southern coast for yourself.

Day 5
2 Stops


On the last day of your journey, you’ll find yourself in some of the most scenic locations that the southern shores of the Wild Atlantic Way have to offer. Be sure to soak in the atmosphere - and of course take lots of photos. There are iconic monuments to climb up to, friendly people to meet and plenty of opportunities for a last spot of adventure as you make your way from Baltimore to Ballydehob, where you’ll conclude this five-day itinerary.
