Inish Beg is a private island estate in beautiful West County Cork, just a few kilometres from the thriving market town of Skibbereen and the little port of Baltimore with its sailing, fishing and diving centres. Hosts Paul and Georgiana Keane, have undertaken a uniquely sympathetic renovation and rejuvenation of this island paradise. The estate, with its beautiful woodlands, parkland, farmland, gardens and foreshore, will enchant all who choose Inish Beg for their self-catering holidays. The idyllic estate is also available as an exclusive venue for weddings.

On the estate, visitors can choose from a variety of self-catering cottages, holiday homes and apartments. Each is furnished to the highest standards and comes with access to a range of facilities, including a 13m indoor swimming pool, small exercise room and steam room, it is just the place to relax, unwind and get back to nature or improve on fitness. The 97 acre grounds has over two miles of enchanting walks through woodlands and along the shoreline, where visitors will find bird watching hides and pirate and fairy trails to keep younger visitors entertained and happy. Guests can purchase garden produce when in season and children love to watch the Shetland ponies, sheep and poultry.

Guests can also enjoy great days out to Baltimore and Schull and nearby islands, including, Sherkin Island, Heir Island, Cape Clear, some of the 100 Carbery Islands that are the jewels of West Cork. West Cork is renowned for its good food, art and music and this area in particular for whale watching and inshore kayaking. The stunning and unique Lough Hyne, Europe's only seawater and freshwater lake is on the doorstep. There's lots to see and do!

Inish Beg Estate was featured in the '100 Best Gardens in Ireland' for 2011. Its gardens are open to the public throughout the year.
