Carrablagh is an outstanding example of a well-established country garden, dating back to the mid-19th century. It is set at Portsalon along the eastern cliffs of the Fanad Peninsula where Lough Swilly meets the North Atlantic Ocean.

Carrablagh is a classic Robinsonian garden with surrounding woodland that protects the specimen plantings within. It is an intimate space with a series of pockets throughout the woods and within a delightful, tiny walled garden. Rhododendron woodlands are a May feature.
