Westport Golf Club in County Mayo, is located under the shadow of Croagh Patrick. The course boasts impressive views of the surrounding area from its elevated position above the shore of Clew Bay.

The Westport Golf Club in County Mayo, is the three time host of the Irish Amateur Close Championship, the Smurfit Irish PGA Championship, and the AIG Cups & Shields All Ireland Finals. It is just a 5 minute drive from Westport Town. The golf course is set in 260 acres of undulating parklands on the shores of Clew Bay with magnificent views of Croagh Patrick.

It is a championship parkland 18-hole golf course, measures 6,980 yards in length and with five par-five holes. It is a demanding track that will test even the longest of hitters off the tee. Fred W. Hawtree redesigned the current course in 1973.

The clubhouse at Westport Golf Club has a restaurant, bar, locker rooms and a fully stocked golf pro-shop. The 19th at Westport Golf Club is made more memorable by the panoramic views on offer of the 9th and 18th holes as well as Croagh Patrick, Clew Bay and Clare Island. They offer a variety of dining options including, a breakfast and lunch menu, as well as an extensive snack menu.

Westport Golf Club boasts a floodlit driving range, a multi hole pitching green and putting green, as well as a 9-hole pitch & putt union affiliated course. It also has a modern fleet of electric golf buggies and club sets available for rent. The pro-shop is stocked with some of the latest golf ranges from some of the leading golf brands.
