On the highest point of the Dunmore headland is an Ogham stone, unusual in that it indicates pagan ancestry of the commemorated. Dunmore Head is found in County Kerry and is the most westerly point on the mainland facing the Atlantic Ocean. It is also the most Westerly point in Europe.
