Bantry House And Garden

Bantry House and Garden is a stately home owned and lived in by Egerton Shelswell-White, who is a descendent of Richard White, the Earl of Bantry. The house sits on an elevated position overlooking the bay and just a five-minute walk from the bustling market town of Bantry, County Cork.

The house offers self-guided tours of the three floors, including drawing rooms, with tapestries from Versailles, the dining room and library. It has a collection of art treasures that were mainly collected in the 1800s. The gardens were created in the 1850s. The second Earl of Bantry terraced the land around the house, with seven terraces in all.
