This B&B is ideally located on a three acre site with a small sheep farm, 4km from Ballisodare, on the Wild Atlantic Way. It is just 12km from Sligo. Seashore is just 50 metres on the edge of Ballisodare Bay, a salt marsh and special area of conservation that boasts view of Knocknarea, reputed to be home of Queen Maeve’s tomb.

Guests come for the view and stay for the hospitality. The house is surrounded by a landscape garden with patio area. The sitting room has an adjoining conservatory where guests enjoy breakfast that boasts view of the Ox Mountains, Ballisodare Bay, and sheep grazing in field.

There is a tennis court on site for guests use and telescopes are available for enthusiastic birdwatchers. Guests have access to a selection of books for reading as well as the availability of tea and coffee facilities. A morning walk along the sea bank and a raised stone wall built in the 19th century will whet your appetite for breakfast. All rooms are ensuite. The WB Yeats room overlooking Knocknarea is recommended.

Seashore is an ideal location to explore Sligo. Carrowmore Megalithic tombs and Knocknarea are 20 minutes by car. A self-drive tour of Lough Gill provides a plethora of poetic sights. There are numerous walking routes as well as opportunities for cycling, angling, golfing and horse riding.

Other local attractions are W.B.Yeats Grave at Drumcliffe, Breeogue Pottery, Wild Rose Waterbus on Lough Gill and Voya Seaweed Baths.
