A busy day awaits explorers of all kinds today, as the route brings you along the coast from historic Culdaff to Greencastle, Inishowen and Moville, with plenty of things to see, do, and taste as you discover the best of the area. As the day comes to a close, settle in to the lively surrounds of Letterkenny with a hot meal - and maybe a pint or two - and get to know the locals who call this special part of the Wild Atlantic Way home.

Whatever the weather, today’s drive is a must-do for lovers of incredible landscapes and breathtaking outdoor pursuits. You’ll visit postcard-worthy riverside towns and breathe the salty air on unforgettable sandy shorelines. From atop such man-made marvels as robust lighthouses and headland-linking bridges, you’ll witness nature at her most incredible, and maybe even heed the call to get out there and play.

There’s history and heritage in spades on today’s itinerary, beginning with a visit to atmospheric Doe Castle and ending in some of Dunfanaghy’s most iconic structures, where the past will be brought to life through stories, artifacts and exhibitions. Nature lovers, too, will find plenty to love about today’s route, and surfers and ocean-lovers will have yet another opportunity to hit the waves for a memorable paddle in paradise.

Today’s final route is all about showcasing the Wild Atlantic Way of life in all its dynamic, thriving glory. You’ll visit a close-knit island community where Irish culture and language flourishes, and you’ll get up close and personal with the makers of great food, clothing and works of art that have all been inspired by the incredible landscapes you’ve been travelling through. With memories this wonderful, you’ll be glad you made the trip to find ‘true north’.
