Set near Skibbereen in West County Cork, Lough Ine House was built in 1830 by Lord Carberry as an hunting Lodge. Today the home offers quality accommodation for holidaymakers visiting the area. Lough Ine House is surrounded by a lovely park of 6 hectares and boasts magnificent views of the sea, fields and Knoghmagh Mountain. The property has a private shingle beach, and the estate is located in a conservation area that is noted for its marine life and outstanding natural beauty.

The house has four twin bedrooms and a four-poster double bedroom. It also features three bathrooms, all with showers and baths, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer, and a ping pong room. The three reception rooms have wonderful views over the sea. Additionally, guests will find a drawing room with a fireplace, a dining room and a large vine-filled conservatory where they can take in the stunning views and read under the warmth of the sunshine.

Visitors can rent a fishing boat, take a ferry to Sherkin Island or Cape Clear, or hire a sailing boat for the day to see the many islands in Roaring Water Bay. The children can join a sailing course or accompany parents on the Skibbereen 18-hole golf course. There is something for everyone to enjoy in this beautiful part of West Cork.
